ATA LOCAL # 48 Diversity Equity Human Rights Committee presents:

LGBTQ+ Students: Inclusive Teaching Practices for Everyone

This workshop focuses on creating more inclusive spaces and services for LGBTQ+ students. Led by registered psychologist Ashleigh Yule and a series of guest panelists, participants will review concepts related to gender and sexual diversity and learn hands-on best practices to enhance supports for LGBTQ+ students, staff, and families. Educators will feel more equipped to implement evidence-based strategies to foster safer spaces in their workplaces, homes, and communities. Optional Q & A with Ashleigh and panelists to follow.
